The Rifle Range
The rifle range Pavilion with shooting bench was rebuilt in the summer of 2008. The new bench permits as many as 7 simultaneous shooters. The pavilion is equipped with Blinking down range lights which are enabled when ever an individual is proceeding downrange to review or install targets, a ceiling light with timer for additional illumination and an electrical outlet. The range permits shooting at 25, 50, 100, 200 and 300 yard targets. The 200 and 300 yard targets have bunkers with steel plate silhouettes. Every target is backed by an earthen mound and equipped with a backboard frame on which paper targets can be attached. Future additions will include a soft rubber face for the bench surface, rifle racks and a work surface under the over hang on the left side of the pavilion as you face down range.
